What to Drink
A prodigious wine list offers some hard-to-find labels from France, Spain, Italy and the New World; one top feature is the off-menu half-glass pour for half the price, which allows for experimentation or a perfect pairing with every dish.
Where to Sit
Larger groups can reserve the patio in the smaller downstairs back room, or in the upstairs alcove ideal for one long table.
Parking
Street parking isn't easy along this stretch--your best bet is the $5.50 valet.

Suzanne Goin's flagship, a small plate Cali-French abode. Simply designed, simply not cheap. [Eater 38 Member]
AOC is excellent. Sit by the charcuterie bar and ask the cheese person plenty of questions. -Alex Eusebio, Top Chef

Many tantalizing tapas and a great list of wines to try. Try the bacon wrapped dates, they're delicious!
Small plates of delicious food like rustic pâtés are the norm here. Make sure you book your table well in advance, as it is still hard to find a seat at this popular spot, five years after opening!
On any night A.O.C is packed and lively. The crowd is casually well dressed and the staff are friendly and helpful. I love the small plates that allow me to sample almost everything!
