This place is terrific. I had the best oysters I have ever tasted, followed by the perfectly grilled slab of gorgeous fish. when they say "at least 6oz." in a sandwich, that must be a bare minimum (mine was a larger portion without question). my husband had a very impressive bowl of clams and mussels. Put this place on your bucket list if you even like seafood.

Go early! We waited in line a really long time and they sold out of a lot of types of fish. The end result though was really fresh, well prepared fish and salads with great dressing. We'll be back but may call in our order for pick up next time.

Just what I expected from a place visited by Food Network, 'Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives'. Watch show at http://youtu.be/8nW8FI1VAAU on YouTube. Wrote more comments and lots of photos on foursquare.com. Fun place for a tourist to go and not see too many like themselves. Best item is fish tacos, select from many choices on menu. Wait staff during lunch (Wed) work very fast to take and deliver orders to your table. Do others a favor and make your selection from menu before getting to counter. And when finished get and go as seating limited.

CitySearch Tips
Know Before You Go
You can have your grilled fish prepared one of five different ways: teriyaki, lemon, garlic butter, chipotle, or blackened.
Save Time
Whether yo plan to eat in or take out food, call in your order ahead of time to avoid standing in line.
When to Go
Weekdays are a little less hectic. The place gets jammed on weekends with tourists and locals dining in and regulars buying fish to take home.
FourSquare Tips
Run by two brothers and located in a fish market, Guy Fieri stopped by this local favorite to enjoy oyster shooters and grilled fish tacos.
Order 2 Swordfish or Mahi tacos w/no onion and add avocado. Take the giant squeeze bottle of hot sauce and drizzle on top. Get many napkins ready.
Call in and pick up. The line is crazy and limited seating.
Fish tacos, I don't think you can go wrong here no matter what you order.
Best fish-tacos in San Diego. Cant wait to come back.
Any taco with fish is a great choice. Also dinner plates of fresh fish good choice. Ate there twice, ready to go back.
Mahi blackened tacos and chips..you're welcome :)
Amazing fresh fish!
Featured on Food Network Diner, Drive-Ins & Dives. Street parking available & nearby lot. Orders made from scratch, not fast food.
Phish Tacos are the shizzle!!!
