The round, tiled tables across the street are part of El Indio, and a nice place to sit on a sunny day, if you don't mind the freeway noise from I-5.
Mortiditas are the famous rolled tacos, chopped into one-inch chunks and covered with nacho cheese sauce--jalapenos optional.
Look for authentic Mexican beverages like tamarindo and hibiscus juice over by the soda machines.
