Arrive early or call ahead for weekend brunch, which runs 10am to 2pm. Avoid the rush (but miss the brunch menu) by going in the late afternoon.
Founding Farmers is a good place for street parking on the weekends. Spots are plentiful along Pennsylvania Ave. NW, both east and west of the restaurant. It's also a quick walk from the Foggy Bottom metro stop.
Most of Founding Farmers' cocktails and sodas come made-to-order: Try the house-made ginger ale or the bloody mary--it's got just enough spice and a perfect weekend drink.
