The concept for The Crab Shack began in 1990. Prior to that it was just a sleepy little fishing camp with a boat hoist, boat storage, live bait sales and a bar in the ship’s store where the locals could congregate and exaggerate their catches at the end of a day’s fishing.

• This is one of my favorite places to eat in the Savannah area. I eat there every trip. Not real sure about the drinking part, however the last time that I was there I had a shot of Tequila that was a REAL shot.
