This place used to be a tiny fresh fish and gourmet plate lunch plate. A year ago they moved across the street on Pier 38 to a 5500 sq foot space with a full bar and fish market. Now they serve breakfast, lunch, happy hour and dinner. The day operation is the same self serve value concept and the dinner is more upscale with full service. Located next to the fish auction, the fish is guaranteed fresh. Check the website or FB for daily lunch or dinner specials. Come check it out. I love the caesar salad, furikake ahi with brown rice and fish and chips is out of this world.

No longer a diner, drive-in or dive. Food was good but definitely not spectacular. They didn't have the marlin burger or Opah fish.

You know that saying, patience is a virtue? Expect to test that saying when you lunch here. It's busy as hell on most days, but the food is worth the wait.
The furikake ahi is the traditional pick, but the daily specials are always worth a try.
Great pesto shrimp
Excellent place for breakfast. Fish and eggs is always a winner!
If you don't like going to Nico's for lunch because it's too crowded, try going for breakfast. The fish & eggs and fish omelette are both super good, and their loco mocos are the best I've ever had...
The new Nico's is bigger and better! We recommend the poisson cru, a Tahitian version of poke marinated in lime juice and coconut milk. It's so ono! -Dining, April 2012
Not sure why they labeled this French restaurant. It's mostly plate lunches and seafood. Very delicious.
Change never tasted so good!! Commit to the #HIEatLocal Challenge at www.KanuHawaii.org!! Also, get biodegradable to-go boxes on request! Lots of local & sustainable offerings! Yes: Guy Fieri ate here
Furukaki ! Awesome Ahi
Anything ahi is good here. The loco moco here is winnahs too!
