  • I guess I'm not sure what the hype is about. I've been here twice and it is basically a Cracker Barrel under a different name. The food was ok, not wonderful and really not worth an out of the way trip.     The breakfast menu ends at 11:00am on Sunday, but the breakfast buffet stays open and has almost everything you'd want. Kids are half price, too!

    Ask for aaron! He's the best. Also, don't get french onion soup. It always burns my hand to serve it and the baked potato soup is a million times better.

    You can't go wrong with anything off the menu at this Iowa landmark restaurant. I suggest the onion ring appetizer. They're really onion strings. Also any of the Reuben sandwiches are amazing!

    The blueberry pancakes made to order at the Sunday buffet have to be what heaven tastes like.
