Best Italian food we have had since living in Italy. Best to make reservations though it was worth the wait.

Know Before You Go
Craving a stogie? Cigar smokers are allowed to light up, but only at the bar.
The Extras
The restaurant has three separate private dining rooms that seat 20, 40 and 60, respectively.
FourSquare Tips
Textbook veal Vesuvio, a ?garbage? salad fit for four, calf?s liver sauteed with onions and bacon, perfectly seared chops and garlicky shrimp DeJonghe.

Best steak in Chicago!
Split an entree. They are WAY TO BIG!
This "hotspot" (literally!) keeps patrons warm during the winter - its 1,100°F Vulcan broiler sears steaks to perfection with plenty of heat to spare. Sip on icy martinis to keep cool in the summer.
Wet-aged steaks still rank among the best in town. On weekends, latch onto first-rate prime rib. The wine list is forgettable, but the well-priced martinis are excellent.
It's decorated like a 1950's basement and that's the way I like it. Get the steak rare. Get red wine. Sixty percent of life is trying to eat great steak. Hunker down, this is the best.
Totally "old school" Charming restaurant, huge portions. Tasos is the best waiter!
