I drive hours just to go here when I want a great steak. Best I've eaten, not just in Chicago but the country! If I'm in New York it's Peter Lugars in Chicago it is hands down David Burkes Primehouse! I used eat at all the famous places we have in Chi but I run to Primehouse when I crave meat. If you don't go, you are truly missing out on the pleasure of what all steak should taste like.

FourSquare Tips
Warm popovers stand in for bread, filets are tender and rich, and brunch gets served in bento boxes with themes? ?griddled? (pancakes and French toast) and ?hangover? (burgers, fries and sunglasses).
Don't miss piping-hot tempura green beans to start ? a crispy, not greasy, version of this dish with plenty for the table to share.
Primehouse gives a nod and wink to an American classic with Kobe beef corn dogs. The two-inch links will remind you of childhood, but the juicy, plump texture and beefy flavor are all adult.
Make sure to leave room for the Slice of Prime (a s?mores chocolate cake with graham cracker and marshmallow) and a batch of the Kickin? Donuts: the ultimate interactive treat!
Who would of thought truffle oil and chocolate would go wonderfully on some popcorn! Ask the bar...addicts beware!
Food and service was excellent. Got the free appetizer for checking in on foursquare!
Every dish is executed with precision, and steaks are aged in an on-site salt cave that controls the humidity and temperature. Steak sauce? Forget about it.
Ask about the bacon fat candles...seriously
get the Sunday brunch dim sum special.
