I stopped at Joe's last week because of all the hype. The gizzards were disgustingly mushy, mostly broken in little bits and the same texture as the greasy breading. Also absolutely devoid of any gizzard flavor from being cooked in a pressure cooker. I had trouble telling them apart from the fried mushrooms I got there also, except for the nasty after-taste of their mushrooms. I agree about the dirty grease taste in everything. If you want good gizzards stop at the Mobil station at i96 exit 122. Their gizzards are broasted so still fairly tender, and much better tasting.

This was absolutely horrible. Everything that we had tasted like old dirty grease. I definately would not go back, ever!

Had great time with a couple of buddies when we went here to try the Triple D burger back in the fall. Was the first time I'd been there and it was a cool place I'd go back to. The Triple D lived up to the hype. Worth the trip to give it a shot.

Be prepared with a good size appetite if you order the full gizzard dinner. That's a lot of gizzards.
