So sad they closed. Triple D made them look like place worth visiting, and Guy hasn't steered me wrong yet. I never got a chance to go here.

The Extras
Town Talk now serves its famous Frickles, burgers, tempeh sandwiches and more during lunch. And for an extra-special old-school lunch break, classic cocktails like the Jackson Pollock and Manhattans add even more allure to Town Talk's charm.
What to Drink
Forties take on a more demure appearance and are served champagne-style in ice buckets. Old school drinks like gin fizzes and Rob Roys make a comeback. For dessert, the Monkey Business adult malt--made with chocolate ice cream, bananas, peanut butter and bourbon--is great to slurp with your sweetheart.
FourSquare Tips
The old-school drinks at Town Talk are really, really good; get an Old Fashioned, then a Sazerac.
Go to Town Talk Diner. Get the Frickles. Even if you don't like pickles.
Go to the Town Talk Diner and ask for the Mexican Wrestler. You might want a glass of water too.
Try the adult malts at this swank diner! Also, the sign here is classic.
Sit at the bar and just tell them to surprise you, it will be pleasant, I promise, especially if Nick is working.
The cheese curds are amazing.
Order a bloody mary.
Get a Monkey Business, you won't regret it. But even if you do, you'll have fun while you do it.
Best brunch. Allow time, service is slow but worth it.
Drink Bells Oberon and eat cheese curds until you're in a food coma.
