This place was very good. It was small inside and the bar has only 6 or 7 stools and it was packed with friendly people. The menu is one page but filled with creative stuffed burgers. The most interesting appetizer was the spam bites a ball of cream cheese with spam and pickles rolled in Panko and fried. I had a Frenchie swiss stuffed burger with au jus like a french dip it was Magnifique. Skip Matts and 5-8 and go here. I still rate the Nook higher but you should compare them yourself. FoodDude

The Blucy is great. Had alot of fun when stopped in here. Was another stop on my May Minnesota Triple D Roadtrip. Also had the Spam Balls that were featured and have to say one of the most interesting apps I've ever had. Next time will try to make sure peson I'm with isn't scared of them. They are very dense and I don't belive in wasting food.

Know Before You Go
In case your server doesn’t warn you personally, beware of that molten bleu cheese center in the Juicy Blucy. No one likes a burnt tongue.
What to Drink
Those with a lust for hoppy ales should ask for the Rush River Bubblejack IPA, an increasingly beloved offering, on tap.
FourSquare Tips
Blucy, breakfast blucy, tots, curds, lumberjack blucy, horsekick blucy, good beers, what more can you ask for. Usually busy (as well it should be).
The Breakfast Blucy ($8.50), an improbably delicious egg-on-Jucy Lucy burger that is an unhealthy wallow through the ditch of deliciousness.
eat some deep fried green beans. they have the best in town
Andrew Zimmern made a stop here, where they?ve taken the classic, local Juicy Lucy hamburger in a new direction.
Try the Lumberjack Blucy: a Jucy Lucy with smoked Gouda, thick-cut bacon, and cayenne pepper. It's finished off with a maple syrup glaze on the outside and served naked on a bun.
Voted as Best Neighborhood Bar In St. Paul by City Pages in 2010. The happy hours go late, the crowds are pleasant, and the Cajun fries are plain delicious.
Check out the Blue Door Pub in St. Paul.. great food and a killer beer selection!
Cajun Blucy and Cajun tots. Yes.
1. Find parking. (you win) 2. Find a seat. (bonus points) 3. Finish their Breakfast Blucy and all your tots.. dipped in chipotle ranch of course. (you're the all time champion).
Eat a Juicy Lucy or a Bluecy Lucy (all the burgers are delicious and inspired) and drink a Lift Bridge Farm Girl.
