Seriously, my patents went every week to this place! Not many places serve beir (beer) in a boot! This is the REAL deal! The Jagerschnitzel is hubby's fave.

Sunny Anderson says the Jagerschnitzel & Spaetzle, at Zum Stammtisch in Glendale, NY, is to die for on Food Network's The Best Thing I Ever Ate. Find more tips at Food Network Local.
Go for the Goulash Soup at the bar with a warm pretzel.
Excellent atmosphere, service A+, and must try goulash soup, prime rib, and veal jeagerschnitzel. Go go go.
There's no better place to get a taste of the nabe's rich German heritage than at this Bavarian resto. Stammtisch serves all the schnitzel, sauerkraut and brats you can handle in a cozy pub setting.
Potato pancakes are awesome. Nice selection of Beer. Appetizers are great. Staff is wonderful.
so many great draft German beers, served in a Zum Stammtisch stoneware stein... don't waste your time on a Bud Light bottle! Prost!
Ask for a 2l steifel bier glas and Goulash Soup.
Pat the bartender, enough said.
Besides the authentic best German food around Zums serves up the best cheeseburger you will ever eay. Fresh meat and a well sized burger.
If you want the Spaetzle you'll have to go there Tuesdays and Thursdays. Apparently there's limited availability on a traditional German side dish at this supposedly German establishment.
