FourSquare Tips
The urban legend of the phantom menu turns out to be true. - Anthony Bourdain, host of No Reservations
fried salted squid (&/or the porkchops) & the seafood basket are always my go-to dishes!
Snails Hong-Kong style is off the hook
The best authentic Chinese food in Chinatown. It's basically a hole-in-the-wall restaurant but the food is amazing, even the snails! [Eww I know] Was featured on A. Bourdain's travel channel show.
Salted spicy squid. Enough said!!
Get the porkchop Peking style! You won't regret it! Oh and CASH ONLY!
Chinatown basement hole-in-the-wall. Looks gross, but is secretly AMAZING in every way. Totally authentic. Huge menu. Cantonese crabs-YUM! Cheap too, so order every 4th dish on the menu and enjoy!
Love staring at Anthony Bourdain on the wall. :,)
While we'd normally be a bit wary of recommending mussels in Chinatown, Hop Kee's are just too good to pass up. Pair with roast duck! Read more at http://bit.ly/UntappedHopKee.
cheap and amazing chinese food. order the green beans in oyster sauce for a good time.
