West Village homage to the chigres of northern Spain, complete with wine on tap, cider served right from the barrel and regional eats.
Seamus Mullen's new spot. If you dig Boqueria, hit it up.
Awesome water bottles!!!
Start with an oloroso sherry from the great Gutiérez-Colosía. For a red, try Capcanes' 'Costers del Gravet' from Montsant, Catalunya; this grenache-based wine is complex w/ generous, bright fruit.
I love this place, I really, really love this place!
Very recommendable ingredient-driven Spanish food in a fun, easygoing setting.
One of the best dishes ever! Tosta Matrimonio black and white anchovies, slow-roasted tomato, sheep?s milk cheese, aged balsamic
This place is new, but it is fucking seriously amazing. Caballa y fabes. Tostada matrimonio. Croquetas. I will hunt you down.
Can I recommend everything? Impeccable food in lively atmosphere. Don't miss the beets, the arctic char, the lamb or the pan con tomate. Desserts are well worth it.
