FourSquare Tips
Everytime I am there my go-to lunch is the Salisbury steak. The taste of home made salisbury, with mash potatoes and gravy gives you a home away from home fullness, great way to spend your lunch.
The pierogies are huge...and delicious
Chef Michael Symon once described Sokolowski's butter-soaked pierogies as "America at its finest." Order them as your main dish or a side.
Get there early!
Do yourself a favor and get the chicken paprikash with dumplings. You'll compare every meal you have to it for the rest of your life.
Cafeteria-style service, and dessert is the first thing you see. Go past the dessert unless you have a second stomach. The portions are HUGE and they have a free salad bar. Stuffed cabbage rolls MMM
Eastern European immigrants, multigenerational families, and Food Network chef Michael Symon all swear by the old- school stuffed cabbage & kielbasa. More places to eat like a local: tandl.me/12ufz7c
Holy Meatloaf Batman... That was amazing. As everyone said before, huge portions (I'm a 6'2" 270lb football player and I was packed full) and the pierogies/mashed potatoes were the best ill ever find.
The delicious hysteria of having to choose among so much good-looking food is a state of mind known to cognoscenti as cafeteria anxiety.
I can't believe I got pierogies as a SIDE DISH. I had a meal, and then another meal as a side dish.
