there are so many other Italian places in Pittsburgh, don't waste your time here. went there once, will never go back. you should never leave an Italian restaurant hungry, but we did. a small ravioli was 4 of them, a large was 5 of them. everything is a la carte

I stopped by at 5:30 yesterday and found an empty restaurant save one family. A pretty, young blonde girl was the only person working that I saw. Modern country music was blaring from the kitchen. The salad I had was good and the cheese ravioli was obviously handmade. The pasta was thick, perfectly cooked and very good; the sauce was very good, tomatoey but not spicy, and the hot sausage was yummy. The check was handwritten on notebook paper. They don't take credit cards and I had no cash; when I asked the waitress if she wanted me to leave anything while I ran to an ATM she simply said, "No, we know you'll be back; it happens all the time." Don't expect fancy - this is a neighborhood family restaurant. It was very good and friendly; I would not hesitate to return.

I can't understand how this place is still open. I tried to visit the joint twice and the place was a ghost town. The hours were displayed on the door but they still weren't open. I don't think I missed much though since just about every review for this place is negative. I am clicking it as a visit since I made 2 attempts.

went there 2/20 5pm no one in the place had a young girl to wait on us and very shy and spoke very low. For the cost of $9.95 per plate of pasta plus $1.20 per meatball we should have should have had 2 take out boxes but the plate was not full and the sauce had no flavor my wife made a commit it tasted like Chef boy-odree will not go back have been to better between Youngstown and West Virginia. The place smelled like they were heating with a gas burned had a strong smell of burnt gasin the air. Save your money Like I said we were there at 5pm and the only one there it is not like it looked on the shop Do not know what Guy was smoking the day he did this location
