Went on a Tuesday for lunch. Found they are only open for Dinner at 4. Call before you go to find if they have hours that you like

This place sucks. The chicken is overcooked. The health department would have a field day. It's nasty. The bathrooms should be condemned! Nothing was tasteful here. Plenty of good restaurants In Memphis, don't waste your time or hard earned money on this BBQ place.

My husband started the first day of our vacation by getting food poisoning from this place. The food was average, or below in his case. The service spotty. We felt "rushed" to get out as fast as we could even though we were there at 5 o'clock on a Wednesday..the place barely had customers. Pick any other BBQ place in Memphis, this one's totally over rated.

Marlowe's was AMAZING! great food at great prices. Got there about 1hr after they opened so it wasnt quite crowded, but I could see how this place fills up! Whatever you order (bbq or a southern classic like chicken fried steak) be sure to get the mac and cheese and corn fritters as your sides. Our waiter recommended the fritters and they were incredible. I could go for some right now but.. I'm in Los Angeles now :(

Great rib joint. Ride in the pink cadillac
Marlowe's is one of the more interesting barbecue experience you can have in Memphis (and if you can't get their on your own, they'll come and pick you up).
Order the baked Mac and Cheese. So delicious!
Very good!
Fred is an awesome server, the gal in the gift shop rules, and the fried green tomatoes are to die for. Add on the free ride to and fro and you can't beat it.
Go for anything pork. As a Texan, the brisket wasn't the best I've ever had (and it was cut wrong).
Try the fried pickles. Delicious
Get the combo appetizer! A real southern treat.
Try the Diesel fuel drink at the bar. Made famous by Johnny.
Try the appitizer combo. It was a great way to try several southern favs'.
