• This place sucks. The chicken is overcooked. The health department would have a field day. It's nasty. The bathrooms should be condemned! Nothing was tasteful here. • My husband started the first day of our vacation by getting food poisoning from this place. The food was average, or below in his case. The service spotty. We felt "rushed" to get out as fast as we could even though we were there at 5 o'clock on a Wednesday..the place barely had customers. • Marlowe's was AMAZING! great food at great prices. Got there about 1hr after they opened so it wasnt quite crowded, but I could see how this place fills up! Whatever you order (bbq or a southern classic like chicken fried steak) be sure to get the mac and cheese and corn fritters as your sides. Our waiter recommended the fritters and they were incredible. I could go for some right now but..
