The ice cream is the thing to go for. I had the limeade float and it was awesome, but their pork sandwich fell a little short. We also had the cheeseburger and fries and I would only come back here for dessert.

What to Drink
Instead of a soda, consider getting a limeade made with fresh fruit.
FourSquare Tips
It's not simply a BBQ/Ice Cream joint: It's an institution. Get the chopped pork sandwich and a shake. You won't regret it.
FUN VENUE they have outdoor waiters
Best limeades in the world!
I guess that makes me the only one who thinks the pork isn't so great. Kinda dry.
Inventors of the waffle cone
Highly recommend the limeade and BBQ. Bring the kids and share a little piece of Norfolk history.
This place sucks. Skip dinner (and a lot of indigestion) and just order ice cream. Your body will thank you. Gag
I am all for tradition, but don't expect the BBQ pork to be anything special. It's served dry, really dry, with a sprinkling of slaw. Skip the food; go for dessert.
Ringo = hot fudge sundae with cone chips
Doumar's rocks! Order 2 w/slaw, side of fries, limeade with plain water and you got lunch. Oh and don't forget the Reggie (not on the menu)
