The mildest dishes are the soy-based mock fish and mock chicken curries. The wildest dish on the steam table is usually the jackfruit: a meaty, savory dish, full of warm, fermented energy.
Try the jackfruit!
If the jack fruit curry is on the menu when you visit, be adventurous and try it! It's excellent.
They're called Samosa House for a reason! Try a samosa alongside the combo plate - still less than $10!

This is THE BEST Indian restaurant I know of! Even better: it's all vegetarian. Try the jackfruit!
the combo plates are awesome and cheap (jackfruit and okra are my faves). but the place also makes a great dosa -- crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside.
Really delicious, cheap and authentic Indian food. Combo plate is the best deal in town. This is also the best place to get puja supplies, masala mixes and Ayurvedic spices.
The chai is the best I've ever had. This ain't your Starbucks chai latte.
