I went a couple months ago with a big group on a Saturday night. It was awesome! The place isn't glamorous -- we were the only non-locals in the joint. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made us feel like family. %0A%0AI saw the DDD and "Check, Please!" segments on YouTube, so my expectations were high. Cemitas exceeded those expectations. I had the Atomica (ya gotta!), as well as the tacos arobales (bad spelling, I know). Even late at night everything was fresh, juicy, and delicious! Everybody shared bites of different cemitas and the only one I didn't like was the cow tongue (I don't blame the restaurant). How have I not been smearing avocado on all my sandwiches?? And that pepper sauce? Awesome! You won't get a fancy meal at Cemitas Pueblas but you will get a delicious one!! I will be back.%0A

Tacos arabes-Lebanese and Mexican food with a flour tortilla almost like a pita, wrapped around schwarma-like spit-roasted pork and onion. Try all three salsas: salsa verde, salsa roja, and chipotle.
Guy Fieri, host of Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, visited Cemitas Puebla in Chicago, IL, for a one-of-a-kind Mexican sandwich.
The carne asada cemita is probably the best food I have ever had. Hands down my favorite restaurant in Chicago. Pair one with a Mexican Coke!
Best horchata in Chicago. Say hi to Tony.
The Cemitas are amazing! And the salsa on the table is fantastic too. This place is a shrine of deliciousness :)
Get the chalupas, cemita arebes, and tacos arebes with the green salsa! Best items on the menu!
I can't get the Carne Enchilada Cemita out of my head. The chorizo taco is the best ever--crunchy crispy. Great service too.
Amazing food. I am officially hooked. Best type of sandwich (cemita) in chicago. Don't call it a torta...
The food is so good at this place.......really good family recipes :-)
Go with a large group and order to share
