Built in 1872 and constructed from a wood frame, the 130-year old buildingGreen door exterior crop has shifted over the years and now has about a two-foot lean. Initially a grocery store, in 1921 it opened as an Italian restaurant called Huron-Orleans (named after the streets where it resides) and made it through Prohibition as a speakeasy, attracting clientele partially comprised of Chicago gangsters
