This is an amazing little middle eastern/Druze cooking. My friend turned me on to it on my last trip to NYC. Incredible, authentic food. Really fresh and interesting -Susan Feniger, Top Chef
Get the burek-it comes with a choice of several different stuffings (feta, feta and spinach, or feta and sun-dried tomatoes) and one makes a good meal, especially if you get a side of babaganoush!
New York's first and only Druse restaurant: think hummus-heavy Middle Eastern fare with a twist (and a BYOB policy!).
Make sure you try the spinach and goat cheese bureka.
The appetizer platter is amazing...a nice mix of middle eastern standards. Everyone here is super nice and who doesn't love a BYOB!
Don't forget to BYOB.
BYOB. Definitely go for the appetizer platter and the feta and spinach special savory pies. They're known for them and they're incredible.
Most authentic middle eastern in NYC. Why? They're the only place to do the BREAD right.
try the za'atar pita. bourekas also delicious.
Leave room for the rosewater pudding and Turkish coffee!
